One step close to getting back on the road.
This weekend I went ahead and slapped the tranny to engine and installed them in the car. All I have to do now is get my harmonic balancer installed (having a thread problem) and finish some of the wiring and I am ready to go. After that I will have to get her inspected and then I should easily be ready for Dec 15th.

Man, I could have used you last night. I had my girlfriend help me with the install and it was tough. 1. she wasnt strong enough to do the grunt work 2. I didnt want her to get hurt while I we were swing 600 lbs of engine and trans around on a hoist. Its all good though, I will have her up and running in no time.

UPDATE!!!
I got the balancer on today and I filled up all the fluids. I messed with a little bit of the wiring, but I still have a long way to go. I did run into what might be a huge problem. I filled my trans up with fluid and hooked up all the hydrolics and for some reason when I shift it through the gears they seem to miss. When I connected the engine and the trans I made sure that all the gears shifted real smooth so I dont know why all the sudden I am having hard time with them. I hope this doesnt mean that something isnt lined up. I guess I wont find out until I get her running. I will keep anyone who is reading this updated.

Yeah, I am loving the fact that I now have a manual car again. I hate autos. I cant wait to get together with everyone in Dec. It hasa been a year and a half since I attended a meet with my car.
