Hey Dude--this is Craig the guy that was tallking to U at HMP last month. Is your car streetable or trailer only?

I know U don't get on this board much, but even if u can't bring the car, U are more than welcome to come hang out at one of the monthly's with us, if U want to!

https://www.thirdgen.org/techbb2/sho...hreadid=293651

So how's it running anyway--what kind of times U been running lately?

The TPI cable is off of an 86 iroc with a 305TPI.

Craig, yes the car is very streetable, i drive it to work every chance I get, it is down right now because i just sent the pcm off to have programmed. It was hitting rev limiter because i have 3.42 gears and the pcm is tuned for 3.23 and also i am getting all the BS codes deleted(fuel level sensor, cooling fan relay 2-3, and a/c compressor stuff). It has been 12.5's so far on motor. I wont discuss the nitrous times

Barry, are you talking about the TPI cable??

Sorry, i have not got back to a few of your PM's. For the prices i am asking, i really dont want to ship any of these items. For
$5-10 it is not worth it to me to have to find a box and take it by a ups or usps to ship it out. So if you can pick up in the pasadena/deer park area, let me know and i can work out a deal.

Thanks
Clint

I'm interested in the headers and will be in town this weekend.

How well did they fit in your car? Any issues getting them in?

Let me know if you had to do anything to 'em to get them to fit (did you add AIR, is there an o2 bung on there already, etc.). If it's possible, I'd like to meet up this coming weekend and get them.

Thanks,

Jon

PS - did a search for you under the exhaust forum and saw that you had some issues with the headers hitting the passenger frame rail...was this ever resolved?

Yes the headers hitting the framerail came from i think 2 issues, First off this car that i have has been badly crunched on the passenger side(not sure if that effected it or not). But i put in poly motor mounts and the headers did not hit anything and fit perfect. So i think the main problem was worn out motor mounts.
They fit fine, i have never had AIR on this car and there are no provisions for it, it does have a O2 bung welded on, but you are suppose to drill out the center to use it, but i had them on a carbed motor so i never did that.

PM me with details of when you are coming in and we can see about meeting up.

I'm in Arkansas going to school, among other things. Luckily I made it home to pick up my car with BRAND NEW PAINT and some sweeet headers I'm back up in Arkansas now though.
