good cam for vortec heads
hi guys i have spent lots of time reading from this message board, but this is my first time posting anything. so i hope i am doing this right
well i am in the process of getting together all the parts needed to do some work to my motor currently i have 350 tbi pretty much stock.
I ordered a set of aftermarket vortec heads from ebay the specs are:
64cc COMBUSTION CHAMBER
185cc INTAKE RUNNERS
2.02 STAINLESS STEEL INTAKE VALVES
1.60 STAINLESS STEEL EXHAUST vALVES
SPRINGS GOOD TO .600 LIFT
i already have the intake and have the rocker arm problem figured out. i was just wondering what cam i should go with. summit sales the edelbrock 2204 for a good price the specs are
so my question is would this cam work ok with these heads? has any one tried it before? and what other cams would you guys recomend?
any input would be greatly appreciated

It would be easier for people to help if you gave some more info. What car, transmission, rear end gear ratio, what motor they will go on, whats your goal with the car? Things of that nature.

it is a 350 tbi it well be in an 88 camaro 5 speed and 3.42 gears.
i want to make as much hp as possable but it still be streatable. the edelbrock 2204 is like $240. i dont want to spend much more then that.

my uderstanding is that you have to use either roller rockers or screw in studs and guide plates. the heads i have are modified for screw in studs and guide plates so i think i just need to get hardend pushrods and i should be good.
i have a edelbrock performer rpm vortec intake
