350 short tail or long tail
I have 2 older transmissions, Both rebuilt and ready to go in.
Would I have to get my driveshaft cut for the short tail 350?
After I switch the tranny would there be a need for the computer?

Depends on what trans your car has and what year your car is, A driveshaft from a 82 with a TH200c or 4-speed will work with the short tail TH350, and a T-5 or TH700R4 driveshaft will work with the long tail TH350.

Then use the long tailshaft TH350. If you use a short tailshaft TH350, you'll need the longer driveshaft from a third gen that has a 200c transmission or have a longer one made.
