I don't have one of those carbs, know a couple of people who have run them, but looking at the above referenced site, I see:
1) The big vacuum port in the front lower center is the PCV port.
2) To find the vacuum advance port, they give these instructions:
"To select the proper distributor vacuum port on your Edelbrock carburetor, we suggest the following procedure to locate the correct outlet. Before removing your old carburetor (with the engine warmed up to operating temperature and idling), pull the hose off the port that routes to the distributor vacuum advance canister. After the hose has been removed from the carb, place your finger over the vacuum outlet. If, (at idle), you feel your finger being sucked in toward the carburetor, you have full-time vacuum advance. If you don't feel any vacuum pulling at your finger with the engine at an idle, you have timed/ported vacuum advance."
You probably want timed/ported vacuum advance. Use the same procedure to find it on the new carb.
The adjustments are well covered on the site. No need to copy them here, look for yourself and copy/print as required.

Now, be nice to the poor guy. You're starting to sound like me, and you don't want that...
Took me a month to go look at the Holley site, found most of the answers to the questions I'd had (and straightened out some misinformation I'd received).

The front left port is for timed vacuum, the one on the front far right is manifold vacuum and the one on the back is manifold vacuum (where I plugged my brake booster into).

The timed vacuum port is where most people put the vacuum advance hose. At idle there should be no vacuum at that port. As the butterflies open, vacuum from that port rises to get more timing advance under initial load (take off). I use the far right port where there is full vacuum at idle for my vacuum advance distributor to have full advance (except for centrifugal) at take off. I get better results with it that way while others prefer the timed advance port. And yes, cap the ports you don't use or you will have a vacuum leak.
