Car: 85 Iroc-Z

Axle/Gears: Strange S60 3.73
PCV Set Up for Supercharger
Currently for my cars pcv set up I have the pcv valve located in the drivers side valve cover and hooked to the intake manifold. On the passenger side valve cover I just have a push in breather. Will this set up work for a supercharged motor?

Problem is: that open breather is allowing unmetered air into the engine, similar to a vacuum leak. Try to plumb it somewhere after the MAF and before the SC.
If you converted to Speed Density / no-MAF, then never mind.

The PVC valve is the meter for the vacuum leak, I believe it should be factored in the tune if I'm not mistaken even for a MAF setup.

For a Speed Density system, I agree. But, for a MAF system, that metered leak is not measured my the MAF, therefore there is more air than the MAF is reporting... just like any old vacuum leak.

I believe the pcv going in the intake would be correct for maf or speed density no factory pcv that I know of does that differently. If it entered before the maf it could dump oil residue on the sensor and no one would want that.
For the breather I can't imagine wanting to hook that up to a boosted intake that would be a boost leak and for excessive boosted air would be forced into the motor. Does anyone know how a factory system like a grand national does this?
As far a breather being a vacuum leak how is a breather different than a tbi that pulls it though a hose through the air cleaner housing what is the control for the leak that I'm missing?

Im a bit confused about this, I have a PCV valve on the drivers side, goes to a catch can, then to the intake manifold. The breather is also on the drivers side. The car is using quite a bit of oil, and the breather seems to be spraying out oil over the engine? Maybe even the gaskets leaking? Would moving the breather to the passenger side help?

Is your breather and pcv on the same valve cover? is your breather just a filter or is it tied in to the intake. Just out curiosity did u set extra ring gap for the procharger when u built the motor?

They are both on the drivers side. The breather is a filter, the pcv goes via a catchcan then to the intake. The catch can is a cheap one, probably not doing the job.

Maybe your pcv valve is not sealing as good as it should and to much boost is getting through.
