Anyone heading down next weekend? I'll be down with my brother in my 91 Camaro RS and 92 bird. Would be nice to see some other TGO members there.

Well we cancelled our room, looks pretty bad, but we are in Dover, De so we might run down Sat if it looks decent, and we have had a string of good weather for the Oct show over the past few years, guess it was time to get dumped on.

I know this is a somewhat old thread, but is anyone here getting ready for this year's spring show in May? I know I am.

What's the date? I've never been. Last year my car was in the shop at the time. Would not mind checking it out if weather is good. Been waiting for track to open as well. Just being able to go for a drive would be nice right about now.

This year it will be May 15th-18th. It's a lot of fun when the weather is nice. The main show is down at the inlet, but many people hang around the Hooter's where they have a quasi drag strip for people to have a quick red light to red light race with one another. I'll be there in my 85 Trans Am and a friend of mine might tag along with his 90 Trans Am.

Thanks for the info. It's been many years since I've been to O.C. I'll be marking my calender. I have friends that go to the show every year 0 with a Thirdgen.

Re: Crusin' Ocean City

I might be going, with my friend Rainmaster, if I can get my fender painted and put on in time, which it is my plan to do so. I won't be dragging between the lights, just cruising around.

Re: Crusin' Ocean City

i stopped going to OC years ago for that. too much traffic and too many dumbasses in diesel trucks and imports.

but I used to love going in the fall when it was more laid back.

Re: Crusin' Ocean City

The dumbassessss in the diesels **** me off so much, dumping all that carbon everywhere its so gay. it does rival the slow as *****. My funniest time in OC was when i had this guy in a primer grey accord like a 93, also had full screw on body kit that was of course white and not painted or primed. my buddy gave him the thumbs down and this kid starts revving the sh*t out of that lil 4 banger and dumps the clutch while looking at us like he was a boss. This kid peels wheels for about a good 10 ft right into the rear of a mustang. ( bumper to bumper traffic). it makes me laugh anytime i think of that event.

Agreed, the diesel dorks annoy the **** out of me. Honeslty though, not too many of them the last few years that I recall. Same with imports. I'll be down there, with my 'bird this year and my brother inlaws new 2014 GT500 (talk about motivation to replace my tbi 305! LOL).

Riding in the beds of trucks is no longer allowed in town so hopefully that cuts down on the diesel guys this year. I'll be there Friday and Saturday.

Re: Crusin' Ocean City

Regardless of how many diesel guys there will be, it still should be a kickass time as it usually is (provided that it doesn't rain). I'll be there Thursday night, all day Friday and Saturday, and in the morning on Sunday. I look forward to the cruise down (coming from the Philadelphia area) and seeing all the sweet rides down there. Hope to see some fellow thirdgens too.

Awesome-we stayed at Jocelyn Manor at corner of Philadelphia & 8th, saw lots of nice rides including some thirdgens as well. Even took the bird out for a few laps Friday night with top down. Glad rain didn't last any longer than it did!
