Thanks 572_rat, I will check out the parts section. I am looking for local parts because shipping and duty are sometimes more then the parts themselves. I just got this Camaro about 2 weeks ago and really want to get started on my project. I guess if I cant find them here I wont have a choice.

yea chuck has alot of parts, keeps a pretty good stock but he is expensive, he'll probably have whatever your looking for but expect to pay. he will not separate things like if you just want a motor - wiring and ecm all goes together. ground fx he has them usually but again your going to pay. his number is 334-8499

none for driving, or maybe the rare one that can still be put on the road he actually hates them, just knows there worth money in part sales. he has a green 60s malibu which is his pride but i dont know if he ever got it finished for the road yet but its 99% complete

yea thats chuck on grassmere i have gone to him a few times for parts i been back and forth on getting a frt lower gfx from him but wants 200 bucks for a cracked one and 200 bucks for a pair of iroc tail lights but he dose a have a big selection of camaro and firebird parts that ppl do end up paying his price for his parts but there is another place on kijiji that is getting into saleing f-body parts he is on gunn road but he dont have any iroc gfxs yet he says.

Yeah, Chuck got back to me with a price on the bumpers and gfx (9 pcs) he said $1000.00!!! I said "are u serious?!" he said "oh yeah and I'll get it too!" WOW!! No Way I'm gonna pay $1000 when you can get the same stuff from 3rd gen ranch for $400. Guess I'll be placing an order online and driving to pembina

I am putting in a new converter. new SFC and a new intake tube. Hoping to run 11.50's this year at Interlake Dragways.
Should be cool as they are having a Heads up racing class this year.

Building a 11:1 Forged 383 as we speak...
It will have my AFR 180's and HSR on top with a XFI 268 cam.
I'm a Torque lover
If I have a problem with detonation I'll end up going with a larger cam...

Should be better than the previous track manager. The people that are running it are more into heads up racing than bracket racing.
As for the heads up classes, there are 3 classes.
Big Tire Class
Any tire is allowed,any motor combination,any chassis as long as its a door car with working doors
Small Tire Class
Tire size is limited to a 295 drag radial,12.50x30 et street,or a 9x29.5 slick,any motor combination is allowed,any chassis is allowed .
11.50 ET class
Open to all cars just can't go faster then 11.50 et
This will be a 3 race dates for this series. June 24th August 26th September 16th

I was surprised to see Manitoba represented. Just saying hello, I recently purchased a 1983 Z28 5 speed. I bought the car in Winnipeg, but now the car lives in Austin MB. It's needed quite a lot of work, but I am nearing the point to try the safety inspection. It's white with no stripes or badges, with black Firebird rims.

Seen the Manitoba roll call so I'd thought I'd step in and say hello.
Just finished my '83 Firebird last month just in time for my Grade 12 Grad.
I'm also tearing up the streets as well with my '85 Firebird with the 305 ci under the hood. Love them both to death. :P

How was 2012 Manitoba? I fixed my project '83 Z28 to street legal status and have enjoyed driving it, and upgrading it. This website is awesome, so much info available.
Are there any 3rd gen events in Manitoba? Pony Coral, St.Andrews Autocross, Gimli drags or circuit, Neepawa drags? Have any of you raced on the circuit at Gimli? How is it? On youtube the track looks narrow and rough.

I think there was a f-body club in Wpg. But I dont remember any meets this summer.
As for Gimli race track. I'm sure you have heard that it has changed names to Interlake Drag Way. The traction there was unbelievable! I got a personal best 60ft there! Down to a 1.46!
Also, they have heads up classes there now too.
I will be running in the 11.50 class this year again, and with my exhaust issues being sorted out, I will be running 11.50's through the mufflers.

Is anyone looking for a NWC T-5 transmission from a v8 '83 Camaro? Works for easy driving, or parts. I'm working on a TKO swap, should be the last upgrade.

Finished my house Reno (well most of it...) so I hope to finally drop the 383 into the car.
After that it'll be a new rear end... I'm one legging my 9 bolt... Grrr
But we'll see how stage one works out first.
Poor car hasn't been out in a few years...

It's been along time since I looked over the Manitoba section. We used to have a Fbody club back in the glory days in Winnipeg in '03-'04 called Fbody Generations. A few of us 3rd genners in there. Kinda disbanded now. Although I remain friends with many. It would be nice to meet a few fellow third genners in Winnipeg sometime. Tim Hortons's are on every street corner. Lol

This spring the car will have a new shifter, new tint, guage rings, lcarb, tires, plugs ,wires, and I should flush my break fluid... That's all...

Don't have to wait til cars are done or out for a meet and greet. I'm starting to debate if we'll even see summer this year. Do any of you drive down Ness in Winnipeg. I can't even imagine driving my poor GTA through those potholes.

Hello everyone! My name is Russ, from Stonewall. I have an 88 IROC 5.7 I bought before winter. Still trying to find a few parts before she can go back on the road. Any of you kind folks have or know of where I can find some AC parts, vacuum lines for TPI, and other small odds and ends? I will be out this summer (if we have one), would definitely like to meet some other Camaro's and their owners. Is there a regular meet in Winnipeg or something?

I just gave all my air conditioning parts away, just a few weeks ago, I have a drive shaft if anyone wants it, otherwise I am going to throw it out.
Just licensed the car, if it is nice next week, I am taking it out for it's first drive
