Cars & Truck Drag Race
(2:00pm - 6:00pm)
Registration begins at 12:00 Noon
Racing Begins at 1:00PM
Registration Fee $25 Car/Driver
Spectator Fee $5.00 (All day pass with parking)
(Children 10 & Under FREE)
Drag Race 150 vehicle limit - Pre-Register!!
**Pre-Register before August 20th and receive a FREE event T-Shirt **

VEHICLES MUST BE STREET LEGAL!!
+ DOT Tires – Required (No slicks)
+ NO OPEN HEADERS!!
Open headers are NOT STREET LEGAL!!
+ Current State Registration - Required
+ Proof of Insurance - Required
+ Valid Drivers License - Required
+ No Passengers
+ Safety Belts must be worn
+ Driver must wear wristband on left wrist
+ Event waiver must be signed
+ Drivers must attend the drivers' meeting prior to the start of each event
For pictures of the previous events head to http://www.thunderonthestrip.net or visit the thunder on the strip facebook page. *Previous race saw well over 100 registered vehicles and people from at least 63 other towns make their way in. *This event is not one to be missed.
Anybody within the state should come out, anybody from the midwest should try making their way up. Each year we get more third gens, both camaros and firebirds. Lets see if we can't bring in 150 cars.

Looks fun! I'll be at the billetproof show that day or I'd take a trip up north and watch some races!

each year it gets bigger and better, the fall race back in september saw 103 registered vehicles, somebody is bringing out a 4th gen firebird this time around with a turbo setup.
The entire gm community is large and in charge here. I believe there were 4 3rd gen camaro's.
