New 3rd Gen owner in Houston
Howdy,
I've always wanted an Iroc since I was a little kid, and I got bored the other day and picked one up in lieu of discussing how I needed one for rallycross and to teach my girlfriend how to autocross and drift.
I found a sweet 86 Iroc with a manual trans, t-tops, and blue and brought it home. I'm sure I'll later discover it's not an Iroc, but it looks like a cliche 3rd gen and has a really nice interior with no cracks in the dash or tears anywhere, and it seems to run and drive well other than a couple small issues I need to sort out when I'm actually at home.
I was into drifting for a long time, and autocross / track-days etc, so if any y'all are into that let me know if you go. I moved down to Katy a couple years ago to work at Hennessey, and got tired of working there so now I'm just doing some private consulting for a couple companies and travel a good bit. This will probably wind up as a CMC car at some point too if any of you guys post here.
Anyways, hello. Here are some pictures of my authentic copy of 1986 Americana.
