Bin tables in Tunerpro are blank
I've searched and google searched and read through the help that comes with Tunerpro to no avail.
I used flash and burn and a burn2 to read my prom and even burned it to a eeprom and it runs in my car. When I open the bin in Tunerpro using 61v3.xdf, which I believe to be the correct xdf for my tbi ECM, all the tables are blank.
I named it STOCK.bin if that matters, I am learning bin tuning for my swap in this thread here:
https://www.thirdgen.org/forums/tbi/...50-vortec.html
Thanks for any and all help!

Re: Bin tables in Tunerpro are blank
This gets tricky, as the original PROM is a 32 kb (kilo-bit) device, while the Flash PROM you are using is likely a 512 kb device. So to get the original BIN into the new PROM, need to either stack it or offset burn it.
Need to check the size of the original BIN. Windows Explorer should show it as a 4K (kilo-byte) file. If it is larger then there is some sort of offset in the file.
The 61v3 XDF file is looking for a 4K BIN. Which needs to be in the lower area of the file if it is larger then that.

I had no issue burning it to a eeprom and I understand the offset issue. I just cannot view anything on it. On my computer it is only showing at 1kb. I have attached it with a .txt extension so it would allow me to upload it.

Well that stinks, I wonder what I am doing wrong reading the prom. I seat it all the way down with pin one facing the handle.
I went to the forum that has the bins linked from moates.net and tried signing up so I could download them but I couldn't get a confirmation email.

Are you talking about gearhead-efi.com?
If so check your junk/spam folder, sometimes the e-mails go from there. If that doesn't work let me know and I can let one of the admins know.
As far as the settings in Flash 'n' Burn, or TP RT, IIRC you need to select the EPROM first, then set the offsets when reading. There's a list of what offsets to use with different EPROMs and different bins on the moates.net support site. I don't have the link handy, but it's not too hard to find that page.

Yeah, that's the site. I did check my spam folder, I just didn't receive it for some reason. My problem is not with writing, it is with reading. I need the tbi bin for my 305 and for some reason I can't get it to read properly I guess.

That was it! I didn't realize you had to set the buffer reading chips, I thought it was for writing them. Thank you so much for the help, I'm sure I look foolish having an issue already. ><
