Full Restoration Shop / Garage
I am in the early stages of trying to determine how I am going to get my 84 Z28 fully restored with new everything. I know I don't have the complete knowledge or tools to see this type of project through so I am not going to bother attempting it. I am looking for a restoration shop that is capable of a full third generation camaro build... Engine / transmission / rear swap; update brakes / suspension, repair / replace interior. The goal would be dropping off a fair condition 84 camaro, and driving away with a new 84 camaro with some new century technology. I am looking for specific shops preferably with some third generation owner testimonials, and I am willing to travel further than the New York tri state area.

All depends on how much you want to put into the car. I know of two shops in Connecticut that I had my car there personally for work

Pauls Rods & Restos in Deer Park long island.
I had holes rusted through my floor boards on my 87 IROCZ Ttop. they cut the old boards out and put new ones in. They did a good job.
Had SFCs installed by another shop and they told me whoever did the floor boards did a great job.
Its a big shop. And great people to deal with.

How much money are you looking to spend? Search my build. I was in for over $40k and i did most of the work myself except body, paint and short block. If i had a ton of money and did it all over again, I would send my car to Detroit Speed and see if they would work on it. I've never seen them do a thirdgen but if they did it would be epic.
