Ok, whether I work or not that day I'm going to be "sick".

I am thinking we can meet up at my house since we have room to park lots of stuff here and room to BS.

Then make our way to the Fairgrounds since its only about 20 min south from my place.

No times announced as of yet.

We need to get back to the old way of this board, jobs, kids, girlfriends, wives, responsibilities be damned. Let's get out and have some fun.

I'm doing the Indiana to Iowa run. Then back home. Always wanted to do it.

M too. Just as long as I get that off of work I will definitely be there.I've also had my heart set on doing this for years and has never went through with it. Car runs great just after I set my timing it will be finished. Talk about cabin fever and being so anxious to drive.

Want to do way too much stuff with the car this year. Sadly, it STILL won't be ready for Road America this year. Unless I take time off to go finish it up. Its 40 miles north of where i live, so I can't really work on it at all considering I have a dog and cat home that need attention too. So my only times to work on the car are weekends.

Accessories, Notching K-member for A/C, wiring (de-pinning the auto stuff, and re-looming the harness), exhaust, tuning the car. Tuning it will be both fun and the bad parts.

Cordova dragway, April 26th
Road America, May 3rd and 4th.
Visiting the Corvette Museum while the sink-hole vettes are still on display.

Lots of stuff packed into the next two months or so. But I want the car running this year to fully enjoy it next year.

Can do all of this in the Focus, its certainly sporty enough. But not the same as doing it in a thirdgen.

Getting back to the old way of this board would be awesome. If this was a weekend event I would take the weekend off and come up. It sucks that it is in the middle of the week.

would love to participate, even though i don't have a car anymore...perhaps this would be a great business opportunity for the company i'm working for now to maybe promote some business over the road...
My uncle and I were discussing this kinda info awhile ago, been wanting to participate in the Hot Rod Tour if it was coming out this way....It was fun back in '05...man i can't believe it's been that long ago!..Was at milwaukee drove to JC Whitney location...member passing by Jerm Boy there as we were heading home...would love to do the whole power trip one day...

Eh, it goes... life is right now but at least it is finally getting warm out again and I was smart enough to buy a house close enough to the race track in this stupid city so I can go to bed listening to my favorite sound again so that's something.



I WISH I could take that much time off during the week but my office would fall apart without me if I was gone that long. Maybe I could find another supervisor to come in for a few days though since it is so far out still. I will get on the hunt for a suitable replacement

I'll be on the tour from Norwalk OH all the way to Wisconsin Dells. I'll be in the comfy GTA with a pregnant wife. My dad will be with us in his 91 RS, and another buddy from Kansas City with a 91 LB9 5spd TA. Sounds like we should look you guys up?

Would love to go, unfortunately I broke my leg about 5 weeks ago and work on the Formy has stalled. Maybe next year I could go, I am hoping to make it to the Nationals this year.

I didn't get to catch up with 1MeanZ though, had to take off after about 5:30 or so, always next year.
