Thanks for trying to help camaroracer, I found the problem. The power steering pulley was not pressed flush with the end, lol. It was hidden by my intake pipe when I removed all the pipeing to start...

Yea the 5.3 has provisions for all the bolts.The 6.0 don't, I had to drill one in top corner,but even if its off a little the bracket should still mount flush.

Yes I have the power steering also, idler is smooth. I can't figure out why its setting about an 1/8" past the harmonic balancer. I bought the camaro oem style balancer, I may have to make a bracket...

I think it maybe a ground wire, I had one that acted just like that and it was a loose ground for the coils. They are 2 grounds feeding the coils and you need both.

Thanks for the replies, so if I got rid of the diverter valve, which I did. the line I need to cap is the one with a straight hose fitting? The other line I see has a 90' hose fitting on it.
