It's an easy mistake. But yes there are quite a few out there. The dumbest thing was that the ASC cars all came with rear drums so far as I know. I have upgraded mine to a disc 10 bolt

Sounds healthy. Idle is def too low though. Mine idles at 950-1000 with the cam I have. This is before I put the muffler on it

That is a incorrect statement. There are many documented original 350 cars that were sent to ASC for the conversion. Most are Formula 350's and trans ams.



The bracing is not the reason...

i believe they are the TES ones. the header on the passenger side has the pipe run over the top from cyl 2 towards the rear of the engine and then down to the collector. I'll snap a pic if need be....

hmm thats strange. maybe you didn't get enough silicone in there. Not doubting your ability at all but we all make mistakes. hopefully it's just that and it will be somewhat of an easy fix

Both injectors should be firing at all times. Check your fuel pressure. I suspect that to be your issue. Either way something on your fuel system is the culprit
