When you pulled a vacuum on the system did it hold the vacuum for an extended period of time? Such as 15 mins or so? Not really important to the pressure and cycling unless you are leaking...

Got her car all fixed up speedometer wise and put my t5 vss back in my car. Thanks to everyone for all the useful information and links!

I used the tailhousing from a BOP thm350 and a 700r4 vss....

After doing some more research. I figure that im using a 4000 pulse per mile Speed sensor and the buffer box is looking for a 2000 pulse per mile reading so maybe thats why its currently not working....

Im not sure how i drove this car home... When I pulled the cap i noticed the rotor button was all kinds of F'd up and it didnt have any screws in it. but now the vac adv HEI is in and its doing great

I'm idling at 900 rpms now. I retightened the intake and carb and did some more carb tuning. I backed my idle mixture screws out 3 full turns each does that seem like too much?
