from that article super ram runner when bolted to the base flowed less than accel runner even though the SR runners flowed more on there own, this i believe is because of that bend SR is closer to 90...

just looking at them now the stock has a broad curve the asm and edelbrock have the tightest curve > )

I think ASM is 260 runners and edelbrock/TPiS base
I would be shocked if it was runners alone
I would guess ASM runner and clay radius would do 290

no leaks I use black rtv, alot of the bosses dont need the bolt to be that long I weld and retap for example the throttle bracket and distributor cover

Those runners and the edelbrock base were flowed on the ST thread all assembled with a similar head you are using the poster claimed it flows of 185cfm, over on the vette forums the TPI intake was...

the internet states the aftermarket bases do 250-260 its unknown if that is alone or with a head or even with a radius, you cant get the port as tall with the stock base as the as cast edelbrock...

Because of the lower base its like a tunnel ram, Ive seen so many say that the TPI is inferior because of the 180 curve in the runners but are quite about other similar intakes, IMO the lower TPI...

when porting cast runners imo its best to not siamese far back you dont want the runner opening covered imo you want the divider to still be somewhat facing the plenum if you need more top end power...

I would start with the springs (bc it easier then changing the pin to change the weight) removing the lightest one just to see if it will fix the low 2-3 WOT shift and 3-2 kick down if the 1-2 WOT...

Because you have a van 700r4, the valve body is different you need a recalibration kit in the mean time try just removing the softest spring from that governor, a f body 700r4 with 3.27 gears should...

governor is matched with valve body the best combo would be from a 93 f body as it still was cable and had WOT shifts 56-5800 and hold the part throttle shifts longer any case you can still alter...
