I'll be there again this year. Last year it was a blast. It would be nice if more 3rd gens showed up. We are always outnumbered by 5th and 1st gen cars.

i know its illegal to swap to a carb from tbi. but what if i carbed a motor like an ls1 or lm7? would that still be illegal?

If I'm accelerating easily but keeping the pedal steady my rpms flux up and down about 200-300. At idle or 1/2 to full throttle its normal. Anyone know what my problem is.

found a pretty good deal on a 350 but its out of a pontiac. Im 99% sure it will still bolt right up to my 700r4 but just wanna check before i buy it. :doh:

from what iv read everyone says that getting the motor is the easy part. the wiring and rearend and mounting everything is the hard part. the cheapest iv herd it done for is like 3000.

i have a hard time believeing that 2200 is enough to swap in a ls1. thats what i plan on doing whenever i graduate and dont have to worry about paying for school and stuff.

well right now its got a 305 so its prolly slower than a v6 haha. na it will run a 15.8 in the quarter. il have to run check the tires to make sure but i believe they are 295/50 15

Oh i didnt think about the dizzy. well i cant carb it because then it wouldnt pass inspection in NC and i think the wiring stuff would be diffucult. it was just a random thought i had.
