will a lt1 cam work in a pre 88 350?

i know i have to tap the pin in but with out a cam shaft retainer plate will it work in my block?

x fire after banging my head in the side if my house trying to figure out what was going on i hooked up my timing light and it just bounced all over the place i pulled the external coil style dist...

My bad. I just need to know should I use the 6 inch rods instead of the stock rods which will benefit me most? The pistons I found to work with 6 inch rods and a stock crank were a bit more...

I checked alkaline the fuses thy are all fine this morning I went out turnedvthe crank by hand and put it at 0 tdc and checked where the dist rotor was it was facing toward the front of the motor...

yes i have both. and the plug at the to of the motor has no were to plug in and the one at the bottom by the oil filter is plugged in already.

Yes it has vatts but if the vatts was locks up wouldn't the sec light stay on? And while cracking the gauge reads 30-50 psi

Haha my 88gta dash went to 117 then my car wouldnt go faster lol twas a stock 305 tpi 170xxx miles but when I turned the car on just befor start it would read 140

The car has all summit gagues in it now. He has the tach and volts hooked up that's it but "l are there should I just rerun wires for them would it be easier. Then trying to hook up a stock dash

alright so in have a 88 trans am was a 305 tbi car who ever i got it from took out the ac all of it ripped out the wiring for it and every thing they had it set up where when you turn the key on...

hmmm i respectfully disagree i had a flowmaster american thunder 80series 3 inch in and 3 inch out on my 88 gta and befor the flow master was a full borla catback system and the flow mast flowed...

well i have tried out a flow master and a cherry bomb and i like the flow mater tone more beacuse its a deeper sound and not as loud but the cherry bomb didnt sound bad either.
