If you replace the entire wiring harness, it should be fairly plug and play hardware wise. They use different ECU's, different wiring harnesses, and sometimes different sensors.

Sounds like it might be a vacuum leak, and since you've just replaced all the vacuum lines before it started that'd be the first place I would look. Spray some carb cleaner (The flammable kind)...

Typically automotive relays use between 50-100mA while active at 12VDC, measure the resistance across the coil of the stock relay and that will tell you how much current it can use....

Got it all apart. 3ft handle of a craftsman hydraulic jack on the end of a ratchet as a breaker bar was the way to go! :-D

Is your car an automatic? Try wiggling the shifter, shifting in and out of gear, and also try neutral. I've had the neutral/park sense go bad on other vehicles before.
