If you haven't tried to start it yet I would first drain the oil and put in new oil and filter. Then before you are ready to crank it spin it over for a bit to get the oil up to some of the valve...

If it was holding good pressure when it went into tranny shop did they test drive the car after the tranny was fixed or serviced? Not trying to point the finger but unless you really know them then...
