Thanks ROMUSMMA. I am definitely not gonna put any in the back because I will keep the hinges and hardware from my metal hood there. As for the front,I only considered putting 4 hood pins in thefront...

for now.....and probably for a long while I am using the stock Iroc hood. I've looked into the flush mount hood pins, but the ones I saw on Ebay for 21$ a pair are from Sparko. I haven't ordered them...

Thanks for your information...it's been very helpful. I guess my decision is made. I will keep the hinges in the back, but delete the hood latch and go 4 pins in the front.

not necessarily. Like in my case for example, I have heads with a 062 casting, but the heads are on a 305. They are just heads that are designed for a 350, but can also work on a 305. Keep...

Thanks BloodyBlueBird for that clarification, well....I've checked. They have an 8 bolt pattern which should confirm that they are Vortecs.
