Its called a choke. And when the car is warm the blade stays vertical anyways. So like Aperion said - inconsequential increase.

If your concerned about MPG the ONLY way to measure is to fill the tank till the pump stops, drive around a few days, fill it up again, and divide miles drive by fuel used. My fuel guage reads 3/4...

If I'm not mistaken fast idle is pretty high on these cars. Mine will slowly creep up to 2k when its warming up unless I tap the gas to kick the idle down. Runs like a CHAMP otherwise and starts...

If you gotta PUMP the gas for the car to start - the carb isnt setup right. At the very MOST you should only need 2 presses of the gas pedal to start a COOOOLD engine (like dead of Chicagoland winter...

I spent 20 minutes straight cleaning my carb body parts and the tech helping me said on a scale of 1-10 I had it at about a 2. Clean clean clean and blow them passages out.

If the factory wiring is still in tact (or partially) the brake pedal grounds the TCC so it shouldn't be an issue. The only issue would be the converter locking to soon which would make the car feel...

Yea wouldn't hurt to see if its shorted internally at the ECM instead of prodding at the harness. Its definately 5v on the signal wire at the connector with it unplugged. I'll check it at the ECM....

It does go into closed loop. So should I start with the IAB and see if dwell will start moving? With the air cleaner off all vacuum ports plugged I got some cross counts but back on it stayed rich....

If its a stock car (or you have some SUPER nasty carbon built up on your pistons effectively increasing compression), anything other than 87 is a waste of money.

I vote no on the sealing. Its almost IMPOSSIBLE to get ALL of the dirt, grime, salt, etc off a car - The sealer will more than likely keep anything that you missed IN, keeping it from being rinsed...
