Re: 82-84 Z28

Lugnut, I have a building full of cars, from trash to treasure. I am being particular, because I am looking for a specific car similar to an 82 I bought new, but sold in 84. I bought Damon’s 92 off...

Re: INTERESTING 82 Z28 ON CRAIGSLIST

This showroom stock wars of the eighties were THE place to test and evaluate potential upgrades to production cars. The red car was a well publicized piece in the day. I remember the Performance...

So many years later, and with even the newest 3rd gens approaching 2.5 decades old, it is easy to forget just HOW GOOD these cars were when new. Those of us fortunate enough to have experienced...

Re: 1991 Camaro Z28 1LE

Cool car! Love to see it on the track, too. Too bad you are so far away from me. The car deserves a renovation, but only a portion of the folks on this forum appreciate the 1le. Good luck with...

Re: crash test video

Both cars did well, with the passenger compartments holding up well. The Camaro shows more crush than the Firebird, but the Camaro may have been crashed at a higher speed. The Firebird was a 30mph...

Re: 82-84 Z28

Mike, that thing is a looker, for sure. You are a LONG way from here, though. Seems impossible that no nice cars are left within 12 hours of here, but that appears to be the case. The red 92 that...

Still looking! Any leads on clean, stick Z28 or IROC cars would be appreciated. Really fond of L69 stick cars, but would look at lg4 or lb9 cars, too.

Re: 89 Formula 350 ws6 for sale

If your car is as nice as you claim, you need to list it on Auto trader, Ebay, etc. Someone looking for a car will travel to pick it up, but you have to get the car in front of real buyers in the...

Re: 1992 1le heritage edition

No doubt, you have a rare piece. The number of 92 G92 stick 5.0 cars is already light. Throw in the Z03 group, and you narrow the count substantially. Putting the 1Le group on the car has to be...

Re: 1982 Z28 originality?

Nice car! The Saginaw had reverse to the left and back vs the left and up for the ST10. Great find, and an unusual one these days, to have any 82-84 in correct form and striping.

Re: 1982 Z28 originality?

The factory 4 speed 82 Z28's are rare, if you look at potential survival rates this far down the line, and how many may have been built. Not common even when new. My 82 was a late car with the...

Re: 1984 Camaro Z-28 H.O. 5-speed For Sale

Warden, the car has a GM Performance type of replacement speedo that was available from GM over the counter back in the day to upgrade the dual dip unit that ran from 82-84, and only read to 85mph.
