I ran into the same problem twice now with the hawks cm, you have two choices really,
1. move the lines up
2. get a different cm

If you dont need the double hump feature for exhaust clearance...

ill put it too you this way: dont wipe too hard when cleaning but dont worry about it pealing off while spraying directly at it with the garden hose

yeah it was fine after,

did you test fit the bushing onto the input shaft before installation?

make sure the tip of the input shaft is smooth,
(no grooves or pits)

apply some grease

yup, 1/2" phenolic and a drop base still cleared my stock hood but my wing nut rubs if i dont posistion it correctly, more importantly it reduced the heat transfer from my manifold too carb...

the sensor I replaced is the gauge sensor in the driver side cylinder head.

I always thought the sender/sensor is the same thing. too be more specific, I replaced the coolant temp sender that threads into the driver side head

yup,
They are the same as the ls1 kit except the calipers have corvette written on them and the casting is better.
I know for a fact the ls1 brakes fit with 16" Iroc's. I do not know if you have...
