1LE brake pad install guide pin issue

Ordered new pads and parts from rock auto, but the guide pin seems way to big for the hole in the pads is there a trick to this or am I missing something?

Re: 1992 Z/28 with almost 502 original miles - For Sale

Beautiful car. Would love to see some more pictures (in fairness I don't have 30k to drop on a 3rd gen right now). Post up an RPO sheet if possible.

Re: Looking for this magazine, please read

No luck unfortunately. I did find and issue of Muscle Car enthusiast, but it was from 2006. I feel like I have seen that article somewhere else.

I will check, that's not one of my regular magazines, but I feel like it looks familiar. I will do some digging this weekend.

Re: Some Questions About the 1LE and SLP Packages

They were very generous with their 1 second improvment in 0-60 and 1/4 mile, but basically 0.5 seconds in each is nothing to sneeze at.

Re: Some Questions About the 1LE and SLP Packages

You could purchase it as a package. The package had a GM part number. You couldn't get it factory installed, but you could have the dealer install it and have it included in the car's invoice.

Re: 2200 mile 1991 1le 5sp

I think it's high. The aftermarket parts knock it down from the stratosphere, but it still seems to be a really nice car. I'm thinking about 10k too high.

Yep, the reproductions are cool to have, but if you see an original window sticker from the same year it will probably look quite different. Don't know why they can't seem to get them right.
