I always thought that Methanol was HIGHLY corrosive, and that ethanol while still not as nice as gasoline, would not eat parts like methanol would. Ethanol is going to be around here (SD) for a while...

Check your timing. It might be to far retarded. Mine had the same problem and it was the dang timing. Disconnect the EST wire to do so. Tan and black wire along the passenger strut tower.

Your current Prom, (ECM Chip) probably isn't capable of fueling the 355. The fuel pressure should be high enough to flow enough fuel for the higher horsepower motor than the stock....
