Re: Procharger - bypass to filter or atmosphere?

You are correct. Air is always flowing OUT of the valve unless it is closed. The only reason ProCharger puts an air filter on some of their valves is to muffle the air coming out of the valve.

They'll sell you the SBC main bracket and repositioner bracket like in that picture. You just need to get a hold of tech instead of sales. Give me your email address and I may be able to help you...

If you're not worried about keeping A/C, Larry at ASSC has a pretty good bracket setup he sells for our cars.

Actually, they just relocate the factory mount. You still use your hold down block. It screws down to the ProCharger provided relocation block.

You can clock the outlet of the blower however you want. Getting the air from the outlet of the blower to the TB is where the challenge will be.

That just depends on what kind of deal your ProCharger dealer is willing to work for you. Yes, at the RETAIL level prices will be $4,700 or more, but who pays full retail nowadays?

Re: Added Intercooler - worried about air movement with current air dam

When I put my intercooler there on my '91, my car ran hot on the highway. I moved the intercooler up between the bumper and the radiator and didn't have any problems after that.

Re: Pulley size to boost ratio?

Every .10" on the pulley size will roughly equal 1 psi of boost, so if you want to hit 10 psi, I would suggest using a 4.13" pulley.

Re: how much psi can i run in my motor with a supercharger

If the pistons were forged, I'd say 14 - 15 psi, but since they're hypereutectic, I'd keep it down to 11 - 12 psi.

Re: Procharger BOV... Standard or Race?

If you're making anything over 550-600 RWHP, go with the Race Bypass Valve. Otherwise, the ProFlo valve would work just fine.
