SUCCESS ! Thanks to all who responded!

This guys on this forum are AWESOME ! ! I got my hatch motor to work! It turns out that the reason it was not working was that it was stuck between the up and down cycle. kind of like an elevator...

thanks, i got it to work! the unit had power, but it needed to finish the cycle to be completely down - i jumped the brown wire to the orange wire and the motor finished going down , then returned to...

thanks - i will check the wire tonight - i have checked the fuses and all were good - i am getting pretty tired of having to keep a 50LB bag of sand on the hatch , just to keep it down!
