Window rock back an forth

It's like the wheels that fit in the horizontal guide on the bottom of the window are too small for the guide. Is this a known problem? Does the guide open up over time?

Oh, and does anyone know...

Re: Will 315's fit up front?

I have a 275mm wide tire on the 17x8.5" C5 wheels. They are a bit wide. 265 should be the max.

315's wont fit upfront with cutting away wheel well material. That's what Karl Hunter said he did.

Yeah, if you want to spend the money on an aluminum block, go Gen III/IV. You'll have a way better engine.

Re: too much cancer?

I agree. It's not like it's just one flat spot on the floor pan, there are multiple layers of sheet metal there in that rocker seam, and may bends and contours.

Re: 1999 stock corvette wheels

No. Get 2" I have those corvette wheel and its 2 inches.

If you plan to do brake upgrades the 2 inch pacers will leave you room, but with the 2.25 inch ones they might go out to far.

O2 sensor bung should've been farther down the collector. Readings where it is now will be erratic since they are so close to those two primaries.

Re: 18x11 IROC Wheels....saga continues

With an 11" wide wheel, I don't think you have much choice. With 8 inch's of backspace you'll need spacers or a 4th gen rear end. My 18x9.5's have 7.6 inch's of backspace. 5.5" of backspace is about...

Re: lowering springs/ dangerously excessive suspension travel

Yeah, unless you are jumping off ramps, it wont be a problem :p

Stiffer shocks will help prevent the suspension extending too far as well.

The 295/40's match the 255/45's well. Its just that the fronts should've been 255/40 ;) That way you've would've got 295/35's. I have those on the back and they fit without difficulty.

Re: 18x11 IROC Wheels....saga continues

It is because of the height. the taller the tire, the less backspacing can be had due to the shape of the rear wheel well.
