I have a 91 gta shell good dash pad headlamps work no hood or hatch interior is rough rh front fender ground effect is damaged no engine or trans fuel tank is pulled asking 300 for whats left door...

not a bad car, possible damage to right rear/bumper cover. it's worth taking a look at I would take a good look at the floors and underneath for rust.

when I swapped mine I just moved the brown wire at the white plastic connector to the other side there was a thread about it very easy worked fine

just got a 91 z28 has nice shape grey interior t-top car only drivers seat worn,ground effects are gone,but high rise still there,nice shape black hood with blisters also new in package owners...

ok I am going to use a autometer gps speedometer interface but unsure on which wire I need to cut I am using a 90 iroc harness and plan to cut at the connector on rh side I am thinking its the brown...

had the same problem on a car I bought turned out the wire for the factory stereo light was brown previous owner used it for a ground. maybe same issue?

computer is a slave to the vats module I have changed my 91 from tbi to tpi and then to ls and now back to tpi never changed keys had lots of different computers as long as it a vats style computer...

Sounds like a vats issue if you measure the resistance of the key And unplug the vats plug at the bottom of column the wires have a orange cover see if the resistance is there
