I was unable to get the Y pipe to fit well enough to use either. It hits the passenger subframe, a bolt on the tailshaft, trans pan on 4L60E, and runs into the floor near the front of the driveshaft....

That's what I've read, with this reverse split SLP cam, the car really needs a perfect exhaust set up to see full potential. A LS1 with the same cam gained 40RWHP going from shorties to LTs.

The engine is quite a bit different now. When I had the car previously the motor went bad and upon taking it apart it turned out the be the wrong motor, and was not a rebuilt engine like I paid for....

I went with the 4th gen tank, they can be had so cheaply there is no reason not to. On my firebird I even modded the factory 3rd gen gauge to work with the factory 4th gen sender.
