I noted one injector is stamped 2189 GM and the other 2179 GM. Does it matter which side that are installed?

I instantly new fan control sensor. Drivers side under exhaust manifold. Single wire. Temp gauge stopped working? I thought temp gauge worked of 2 wire sensor on intake next to thermostat...
