i will have to check all connections for sure. the switch im using is a 20amp switch so it should have no problems with the switch wires.

Well looks like it was the relay that went bad but now the fan stays on all the time. I guess that's not a big problem since I only drive the car when it's warm out so I guess I'll just not worry...

Have now taken the flex plate off to look for cracks none found. My last idea before complete engine tear down is oil pump replacement with mane shaft and rear main seal.

jtsk dont go off the cliff here and sell that car i am sure its just some settings from the idle screw and the position of the TPS something like that. will have to try the reset of the IAC
