doing more research i think the previous owner installed an 89 and earlier a/c setup on the car because i had to change the connector for the compressor clutch. those of you out there that have...

i actually have access to a professional machine i pulled it down to 30" hg for 30 mins followed by a 10 min leak test holding vacuum the hole time but as soon as i switch the machine to charge it...

I have been attempting to replace the compressor in my 91 gta for the past 3 days with no luck on getting it to work right. The first replacement from rock auto was an ac Delco remaned installed it...

Currently has a700 r 4 the stick swap is a 5 speed out of an 89 with a wc t5 would like 2500 since painted but is negotiable cause paints not perfect

Well It didn't work when I got the car. I replaced the gear and re mounted the clip and driven gear I'm going to double check tomorrow at work wether the gear is stripped again or not
