Here is one from about 20 years ago. 1/2" mdf. 2 10's. Doesnt interfere with the t-tops. I've still got it but its due for an update....

This is the welder I just bought not to long ago. I'm not an expert and only used it once to weld an exhaust pipe so far but compared to the cheapo welders I've used in the past this one is great....

If you can find a rust free car for cheap go for it. But personally I wouldn't send that car to the crusher. The big question is.. do you want to learn to weld? I think metal work is a lot of fun....

If you have a welder that's your best bet. Even if its rough it will be better than fiber glass

My dad painted a camaro in a home made plastic paint booth in our driveway for his first paint job with a 3 stage candy paint. A lot of people said that wouldn't end well. Ignore those people....

Ya they aren't the best cars in the snow. It's my daily driver though so when I get the chance I try to find safe spots to slide around at low speeds to get used to how the car responds in the snow....

Here is one I found on youtube. The ones that also had 4thgens where called fbody havoc and fbody wild times. There where a bunch of them at one point not sure where to find them all now.

Havent used that welder but personally I would want a welder with shielding gas and an adjustable knob for the output. but that would cost a little more.
That would most likely be good enough though...

Here is an interesting post by someone who apparently owns 3 iroc bodies. Has some info on what happened to the cars. Hope he gets them put together like he plans. I've always loved those cars....

i thought about getting a firebird in the future and trying that.. but with shorter head lights so it wouldnt have to go so deep into the hood and then making a blacked out plexi glass cover i think...

just looking at them it doesnt look like they would fit.. and even if by some chance you could put a monte from clip on a camaro the body lines wouldnt line up and it would look horrible. personally...
