the idler and other parts they try to sell us are S10 parts i learned when comparing parts just by eye the tie rods and idler are are different angles gm vs other brands no clue when the error...

i did fix this issue you have to replace the Idler with the genuine gm one there is NOT one single aftermarket one that is correct! all are based off an error there was talk about it on...

no need to remove the hood and no need to remove the tires just make sure you are forward of the caster settings on the strut mounts I think it took me 2 hours to install properly

you know you could just replace the lower control arms with the founders ones cant really beat the price honestly mine needed bushings and i figured there so cheap mine aswell just replace them...

sure you don't have a 10 bolt? I don't think there are any 9bolt rears with drums
9bolt rears where 85-88 with iron delco calipers and 89 with pbr aluminum calipers
9bolts also do not use c-clips

mind you that was my 1st spark table attempt ,I just based off the what gm wanted for this engine then comparing it from the chip gm made for the ccc prom I know it wasn't the best but I tossed it on...

oh I heard the sreaming ping at the track all of 2nd gear till it got above 3900 lol
when I used the vette spark it pinged from 2800-3900 was fine 4000 -5800 where it pulled like a freight train...
