Don't forget the handful or so convertibles that were imported into Australia and other countries. Most of them that I've personally seen in Queensland are right hand drive and high on equipment...

1st thing I'd do is clear the air out of your system by running the car with raidator cap off.
Check that your hoses aren't collapsed
Check thermostat opens is your top...

Yes - depending on who converted the car, the rear seat belt anchors may have been moved. My are in the centre, likely similar to yours.

You can get the fliprods separately. Also, 89 cars did...

The brake and clutch pedals look identical - honeycomb pattern. The pattern also matches the gas pedal (honeycomb).

I guess it could be bracing mounting points for the verts - but rivets??? - doesn't sound too strong.

I haven't seen it on any hardtop cars, but have seen them on a couple of convertibles.
