Re: GC Weight Jack questions.

Rear springs might be too short and a little too stiff. Id be thinking 175-225 range, but that is just going from memory 8" seems short for the rear, you may want to double check that.

Re: couple questions about weight jacks..

You should be in the ball park with those rates. You might want to keep your eyes open for smaller rear sway bar or bars to see if it suits your driving style better. The good news is so many people...

Re: couple questions about weight jacks..

Honestly 200 range is likely a much safer bet. Especially assuming that you've already got the huge 24mm rear bar.

You've got to remember their is not a lot of weight in the rear of our cars and...

Re: couple questions about weight jacks..

300lb rear springs are still damn stiff for autocross/daily duty assuming the rest of the rear suspension retains near stock geometry. You'll see more spring rates in that range on track cars. You...

Re: Swaybars. Where to start

If you don't get enough adjustment to balance out the car from moving your clamps Hellwig makes an adjustable rear bar now. For reference I'm at 36/21

Re: No caster adjustment???

Caster is adjusted in the same manner that camber is adjusted. Via the strut mounts, they need to be pulled toward the rear of the car to increase caster. My car stock, an 82, would only get 3.5...

Re: Stiffer suspension for next to nothing?

Why not cut your current springs first and see where you end up? Cutting your springs will increase your spring rate. Irocs have fairly stiff springs as is.
