shift kit = 2 ruined harmonic balancers?

About 2 years ago we built the trans including a shift kit on our GTA. A year later we notice the stock harmonic balancer has slipped. So we replace it with an ATP balancer from the local auto parts....

Thanks Kevin. Thats the reason I'n not too sold on the Vortec heads; the EGR hassle. Did you do anything to the L98 heads other than springs and valves?

Also, your fuel system may be bleeding off pressure. You should have fuel pressure for a while after you turn off the car. If not, report back.

The car failed again!!!!! This time the ref had about 9 caps so the EVAP test was no problem. The problem was the HC's at 15mph & 25mph. It got a 114 out of 108 allowable & 92 out of 83 allowable...
