yeah that’s a good idea. I’m converting my system from r12 to r134 anyways so maybe that’s the move to make anyways. It would be a better pressure sensitivity to activate my secondary fan right?

unfortunately that doesn’t seem to be it either. That’s the one that is embedded into the back of the AC compressor, not threaded into the High pressure line.

What am I checking with a mechanical gauge? Also I see that head gaskets could be a problem, however the oil and coolant are both clean, no contamination at all, Al my exhaust is clean too, no smoke...

First of all the radiator cap was already new. Secondly I replaced the entire radiator that came with a new cap and still made zero difference

ill go ahead and check my heater core again, but as far as I can tell it’s perfectly fine, the heater blows really hot and I’ve flushed it not long ago.

so it ended up being the vats system. I wired up the vats bypass module and now it starts and runs. But now it idles at 3,000 rpms and causing it to get really hot. Any ideas on that?

you were right. It ended up being the VATS and after installing the vats bypass module it’s then started and runs. Only problem is now it likes to idle at 3,000 rpms. I’m not sure how to fix the idle

yes I am 101% all of that is true. Since I have grounded my starter relay, I’m the code 46 has gone away anyways. I can check the the timing but I highly doubt the the timing chain would have skipped...
