Yes, these connect to the stock y pipe. Hooker does make an upgraded y pipe that has less of a restriction at the bend.

I don't think I need to replace the TCC lock up solenoid, the only time it slips is when the car is running from a cold start, it slips only that one time such as like leaving the driveway or leaving...

I have a 700r4 transmission that was rebuilt about 2000 miles ago~8 months ago, and I sometimes have slippage shifting from 3-4, would installing a corvette servo help this?
