I would settle for a 79,81 Z28? I have always liked them. I could have bought a 81 a year ago and didn't. Wish I would have now.

I don't mind the 305, like you said you can get a little more out of them. If I had my choice, I would want a red mid 80's Iroc with a manual tranny. Heck, I would even settle for a roller if someone...
