I just cancelled the order, I got to looking I think my bracket is goona hit that spade connector at the 12 o'clock position. Ill just reorder a 9 o'clock one

Well Ive had this kinda issue happen twice, first time it was the ICM, the second time was the MAF power relay. Usually if its the ICM it will not just start right back up will it cools down alittle

Well it was pretty much 95 100 degrees here today, i drove the car from like 10:30 till like 4, not 1 issue of boiling gas or hard start problem after sitting for like 20 minutes or so. No noise what...

My thoughts excatly, thats why i put in 2 acdelco pumps chasing this problem. 20 30 years ago i think it was the way to go. Now i think acdelco is like the goverment who ever bids the cheapest gets...

Well i finally have somewhat of an update!!!!! Finally had a good hot day here in nc today close to 100. I drove this car for 3 hrs, not 1 noise from the pump no smell of gas not bubbling or carrying...

Just to post somewhat of an update, just for fun I swapped the fuel pump over the weekend, I ditched the ac delco for a bosch, I did some testing over the weekend, my problem points to the pump...

My thoughts exactly!!!! And to think when its already a sunny warm day, if our car is parked on hot asphalt that's going to be even hotter, with the heat of the asphalt coming up, just a thought!

Are you running 2 heat shields now?? or did you just replace the factory one with the flowmaster, the key to a heat shield or thermal barrier is a good air gap if I'm making sense.

Mine spits out also, i punched 2 holes at the filler hole it helped alittle. I also found it has alot to do with the gas pumps themselves, some of these newer pumps just flow so fast it cant keep up...

I believe I finally pretty much fixed mine, I changed lines and checked and rechecked and changed solenoids. As far as I could tell it was venting properly just the gas that was returning to the tank...

the diverter is vac. controlled, its on the passenger side inline with the heater hose, google thidgen diverter valve plenty of pics will show up

Yes you are correct, i swapped the raditor seems to cool about the same strange but the ac does seem to work better but thats a different story lol. I installed a 195 temp switch that thing is great...

Yes sir I have a dual fan setup both are working, the first one cuts on at 220 and it usually will cool it off alittle, but both fans are working the other one kicks in at around 240 thank god it...
