After replacing the water with the coolant the problem went away.
It was just rust from the water.

Flush the system with distilled water 5 times and on the last one fill it up with 60% Zerex G5 and 40% distilled water.

Will drive it tomorrow to see results.

Can it be that is just getting bad from the water since is an iron block?
I will try to flush and use G-05 coolant.

So if I have a cracked block I should have water in my oil as well, and this is not the case, is just the water that is contaminated.



I did flush it a few times using the prestone radiator...

Ok, I used some radiator cleaning solutions and drained the system a couple of times, on the third one I ran a de-ionized water hose from one end of the radiator until it came out on the other end...

The transmission now goes to a separate cooler.

Also drained the system, replaced the radiator, used new water and after a 3 miles drive the water is still coming dirty like rusty.

Im tapping the old hydraulic line and putting a fitting for a 1/2 hose, and then to the filter, to the cooler and back to the tranny.

Ok, I disconnected the Air temperature sensor, relocated it to the air ram intake and got a new sensor from a 1989 camaro v6.

Problem solved, car runs way better, no codes at all.

Ok, replaced CTS, thermostat, fan switch, distributor cover and rotor.

Still having the same problem.

Codes 12, 13 and 23.

12 is nothing
13 Oxygen sensor circuit
23 Manifold Air...

The code I think was for oxygen sensor but it only show after like an hour of driving, when I start the car again later is gone.

A little more information...

Al the smog items were deleted before I got the car including the cats.
When I got It I installed new oil sender, now all my gauges work.

I repainted some parts of the engine bay with a black spray paint can, tried to put all the wires to look in order and all the rest was cleaned with WD40.
