Thats the route I would go. The link i posted were for the Dyno Don's, he sells a y-pipe that fits perfectly also.

The first one looks to be a set of long tubes and the y pipe that comes with would put the exit down the center of the car and clearance issues would be a pain. Lots of fab work would be involved in...

Sounds like someone slapped a TPI on an early 80s 305. I'd dump the 305 and go with a 350. That's a whole lot of weight for a 305. 350's are cheaper to build and you'll get more bang for your buck....

By all means that is fixable. Time and patience with a hammer and dolly will work wonders. That area of the door is easily accessible from the inside. Any decent body man should be able to fix that....

RS came in 87 for california cars i believe. Sport coupe was dropped in 88 or 89 and RS became the new "base" model. But to your question, yes RS was available in 88

Went for a ride today and took some pics. Paint has been fixed from the Ziebart screw up. They plan on wetsanding and buffing the repaired areas at no cost but I'm tenative to let them touch it again...
