Re: has any one done a corvette ZF-6 speed swap into a third gen

Call me Lazarus because I'm bringing this one back from the grave! Here's an '86 T/A with a ZF S6-40 behind a 1400hp supercharged big block (good luck getting a t56 to handle that.)...

Redleader, the only reason I mentioned anything in regards to a nissan was in response to fast355's comment... I could care less about a "Datsun"... The ONLY reason I registered to this site is...

Re: Looking to buy a bbc

Re: Looking to buy a bbc

So if I build a 496 out of it a set of hookers would work for a while, until I buy a set of Ed Quay headers? In the event the HP bug bites me...

Looking to buy a bbc

Hi all, I've came across a 454 BBC and th400 out of a '76 rv with 70k on the odometer. It runs but could definitely use a tune up and some fresh gas. I can buy both for $160.00 and I pull them. My...

Re: why do honda/import "tuner" people think their stuff is fast

Re: why do honda/import "tuner" people think their stuff is fast

I agree, those two engines would have been the best possible platforms (of that time) in which to build upon! Not to mention they would have had more "out of the box" performance.

Re: why do honda/import "tuner" people think their stuff is fast

Apples to tangerines but whatever. I have yet to see a 1000+hp titan though, especially on stock parts! However I have seen a "pathetic" 5.3 make 1200hp on stock internals http://youtu.be/Awa2W6x1h9k

Re: why do honda/import "tuner" people think their stuff is fast
