You can get a new unit on Amazon or Rock Auto for around $125. I would not be willing to remove the tank to get to the sending unit for that, You are better off with a new unit.

Sorry for the delay. I finally had time to get some pictures. Are these the bolts you need? I think there are also a couple that attach from the inside under the dash....

As said above, remove the 4 bolts that bolt the transmission to the bell housing. It is much easier to remove that way. Leave the bell housing on the engine until it is out of the car.

I have no idea what the struts are or how old they are. I would guess they are nothing special as the car was a daily driver of a young kid on a limited budget. I will sell the sway bars for $75...

I had to pull the 5 speed manual transmission out of my 1989 Formula today because it is still leaking fluid (small drip, but annoying as hell to me). Here are a few pictures. Maybe this will help....

The RPO codes show the rear end as GU2 (2.73 gear) and G80 (limited slip) and it has drum brakes.

I would like to see that video too. I am sure it is possible to REMOVE it, but you would not be able to re-install it or re-use the bell housing. lol

What parts are you looking for? This car has rear drum brakes and the complete brake system, hubs and posi rear end are still in tack.

The fiberglass wing weighs about 25% of the original (estimated). I have used two of the fiberglass replacements on two Formulas and I highly recommend them.

Thanks and yes, I spent many hours. I restored every nut and bolt on the car. I stripped it down to the body, subframe and wire harness. Every other piece was removed, polished, painted or replaced.

The door lock bezel is clean with no cracks. The driver side ashtray hinge is broken and the piece is missing, so the lid will not stay shut...

No, The factory spoilers did not hold up well. You are better off going with a fiberglass replacement spoiler from Hawkes or Classic industries.

Fortunately my car was only an hour from where I live and it was in a small town. It was still a needle in a haystack, but Detroit would be a much bigger haystack.
