350 tpi engine build questions

Ok guys here's the deal. I'm not much of a forum writer so I don't post often but I really appreciate being able to pick so many brains at once.

Fuel pressure primes to 45 psi. I checked and I don't have injector pulse. I bought my distributor on eBay used so I'm going to start in there?

I will check fuel pressure when I get home and let you know. I didn't see fuel coming out of the fpr even with the line off

I haven't been able to get a straight answer on this but can I swap the pulley on a serpentine alternator for a v belt pulley? I know.... why? I'm a cheap sob that's why. I'm simply asking is it...
