This is all why when people say/think flow isn't important, they are wrong. While it might not be #1 on the list, all sizing of the induction should be based off a target velocity.

I like it. I've used them all. Starr is the best, IMO. I liked this because I was trying to use some of the OEM brackets, and I did.

Also found out how much converter I have, lol.. I lifted a little at the top of the shift because a car was coming, then thought screw it. After it shifted, I went a little before taking my foot...

OK, well if your interested in the Flowmaster, it came with the 4" mufflex kit, same thing, one in/out, I'd take $100 plus the ride.

What spintech do you have? I have a Ultra 40 4" single exit I took off this. It sounded bad ***. It's like new. Trade you for the spintech??

I have no idea. I have never front a stop got on it and let it shift through the gears.

I got my first ticket a few weeks back. 99 in a 50.. So I'm a little gun shy now.

Getting some miles on this now. I say it's working! I'm at 5000 DA, it was a 92º day last Saturday. Notice the kPa and what it achieved. Notice what it did to my VE table.

So I finally got to drive the Camaro with the new "ram air".. Key on and in this part of the country I show 91 kPa.. Went and drove it with the computer hooked up. Put my foot in it and it shows 90...

I'm at a real 2100 altitude. I'm thinking what it's actually reading is correct for this area.

I'm not 100% sure here. I'm at altitude. When I turn my key on, I'm reading 93 kPa, not started.

Would I ever show 101 kPa at altitude?

I can't drive it due to weather but looking over old logs before the rework, it was showing 87 kPa at WOT. Which means I had lots of work to do.

That would be ram air. It's 4" pipe raming the air into the lid.

Cold air would be hanging one of those ugly tubes off the TB and pointing it towards the ground with a filter on the end.
